Aphrodite's Droplets, Earrings

Handcrafted out of solid sterling silver, these earrings are fit for Aphrodite.

I came across these antique glass droplets years ago. They are each slightly different, indicating they are each handmade. They conjure images of droplets dropping off of Aphrodite, pearlescent cocoons of mystical sea creatures, swirling architecture of ocean palaces...

Each handmade sea coral fan features a trinity of these droplets, dangling and moving. 

Measure approximately 56mm X 31 mm each (including ear hook) and weigh approximately .13 ounces each, so they are feather light.

They have been blackened and then given a shine, allowing the patina to stay dark in contrast to the light pearl glass.
