A bit about Libyan desert glass: This beautiful and alluring specimen is found in a remote area of Egypt called the western desert amongst the Great Sand Sea. It is a result of severe impact of high energy cosmic event billions of years ago. This stone has been featured throughout time, representing a multitude of intentions- most notably for the breastplate of King Tutankhamen.
