Some common questions we get about Muonionalusta Meteorite
Meteorite is predominately iron – how do you prevent rusting? Iron is highly susceptible to oxidisation (rust), so to ensure its longevity we have applied a specialised 3-micron white gold coating. This creates a protective barrier.
How do I look after something so old? All our jewellery comes with a care sheet. Our top advice is NOT to get the meteorite wet and avoid applying perfumes and lotions once you are wearing the jewellery.
What's included with the purchase? A certificate of provenance, a gift card with Meteorite information on, an 18" silver chain, a care sheet and a silver polishing cloth.
