Rose gold is finished with a special metal treatment that creates a natural patina. This patina gives the recessed areas a subtle yellow hue, enhancing the contrast with the polished surface.
This effect is unique to rose gold—white and yellow gold will not develop the same patina. Instead, those metals will have a lightly textured finish in the recessed areas, with a high-polish shine on the raised surfaces.
