These shell crown rings are one of my most favorite pieces I've made in recent memory. In their simplicity, they pair with anything and remain elegant, powerful, statement pieces of the sea. Their scallop shells radiate out from pools of "seashell enamel" moonstones, reminiscent of art deco.
This particular piece offers a pool of seashell enamel that is of a dark and mysterious color.. rich, smoky, purple? mauve? storm clouds? It's all and none. It offers brilliant silver flash and is one of my favorite of all of the "enamel" stones chosen.
Handmade out of sterling silver, this shell crown rests on a split band (as shown above) and is a size 8.
