Stacked Totem Resin Sculpture

High-clarity crackle resin. Embedded crushed minerals. Smooth sphere crown. 13 × 7 × 35 cm.

A vertical totem stack of four resin forms — two torus rings, one oval connector, and a smooth sphere — cast in high-clarity resin with visible internal crackle texture throughout.

The stack reads from base to crown: a large portrait-oriented oval torus ring, a horizontal oval connector piece, a smaller circular torus ring, and a solid smooth sphere at the top.

The internal crackle pattern runs through all four elements and is visible from every angle, creating a fractured-glass appearance across the full height of the piece.

Both torus rings have open centres with irregular jagged inner edges — the aperture of each ring is not a clean circle but a broken, organic hole.

Crushed mineral fragments are embedded within the body of the torus rings and the connector, suspended in the resin and visible through the clear outer walls.

The sphere at the crown carries no mineral inclusions — smooth, near-mirror finish, sitting in contrast to the textured forms below it.

The four elements are cast as a single continuous vertical piece with no visible joins between sections.

At 35 cm tall on a 13 × 7 cm footprint, the piece has a strong vertical presence for its compact base size.

The flat black rectangular base provides a clean visual anchor and keeps the footprint stable on flat surfaces.

Under directional light, the crackle interior scatters light through the resin walls and the mineral fragments create point-source reflections within each ring.

Smoke Grey — clear crackle resin with no mineral colour addition; the form reads as near-glass with a cool grey cast; the internal fracture pattern is most visible in this variant without colour competing for attention.

Teal Blue — teal and blue-green crushed mineral fragments embedded throughout the rings and connector; the mineral colour reads through the clear resin walls and shifts between teal and aqua depending on the light angle.

Burgundy — deep red-purple crushed mineral fragments; the fragments are larger and more sparsely distributed than in the blue variant; the colour reads warm and rich through the clear resin exterior.
