A bust sculpture of a veiled female figure, the face and shoulders entirely concealed beneath a full-length draped veil.

The veil falls in natural-looking folds from crown to chest, with individual fabric lines pressed along the full length of each drape. A floral wreath sits above the veil at the crown, with small individual blossoms and leaves detailed across the full circlet. The facial features are visible as soft impressions beneath the veil surface, the veil pressed against the bridge of the nose, the lips, and the cheekbones without fully revealing them. The bust terminates at the chest and sits on a rounded pedestal base that keeps the form stable on any flat surface.

The technique of depicting transparent fabric in solid resin is drawn from 19th century marble sculpture, where the illusion of sheer material over a face became a demonstration of extreme carving skill. This piece translates that tradition into a resin form suited for everyday display.
